Hot Stone Massage
During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated basalt stones are placed over specific parts of your body. These stones are also applied with Swedish massage techniques in a variety of fluid movements. Sometimes, cold stones are also used during a hot stone massage. Cold stones may be used after hot stones to reduce any inflammation and can have a very calming and relaxing effect.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
This specialized massage type assists the lymphatic system in maintaining the body’s fluid balance, blood circulation, and immune mechanisms. Lymph is a mixture of water, proteins, immune system components, waste products, and other remnants of cell metabolism that filter through lymph nodes found in the neck, armpits, and groin. During a lymph drainage massage light, rhythmic movements are completed in a specific sequence to stimulate the lymphatic system without compressing the vessels that permit lymph to move easily through the tissues and lymph nodes.
This technique utilizes specific pressure techniques applied to the feet where all the internal body structures and organs are mapped to help reduce stress, improve nerve function and blood supply, boost the immune system, provide headache relief, eliminate toxins, and normalize body function.
Deep Tissue Massage
Sometimes you just need a deeper touch. This massage incorporates some relaxation but is focused to specific areas of concern to the deeper tissues. While you may experience some discomfort during this massage, you will enjoy the therapeutic benefits of increased joint mobility, reduced muscular pain and improved circulation.
Prenatal massage and postnatal massage are massages that are specifically designed to help mothers have a smooth pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Prenatal massage is a therapeutic massage that is specifically targeted at expecting mothers to cater to their special needs in preparation for childbirth. Postnatal massage can restore ease and comfort. Relaxation is a therapeutic benefit supporting the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of the postpartum mother.

These strained areas are also known as tender or trigger points causing muscular pain symptoms. Neuromuscular therapy is a technique used to relieve pain in a multitude of areas like the low back, neck and shoulders, headaches and temporomandibular joint.
